Why Take A Multi?

The pace at which we live our lives and the demands of an increasingly hectic lifestyle can chip away at our best intentions for a healthier diet. A healthy diet can go a long way in giving us the stamina, energy and lasting health we require to keep up with life and achieve our goals.

Most individuals face a variety of nutrition challenges every day where they are unable to:

  • eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and wholegrains

  • eat enough plant-based foods for good health (according to global health surveys).

  • limit the intake of foods containing unhealthy fats and sugars.
It goes without saying that nothing can substitute for the vitamins, minerals, fibre and other nutrients available in whole foods. But when we can’t or don’t eat what we should, there’s a way to add the nutrients we need. In 2002, a report in the leading medical journal, JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association), recommends that all adults take a multivitamin every day as one way to ensure an adequate intake of important vitamins and minerals.1
